a logo for a computer company named " ROOT " AND ITS PHOTO OF PINGUIN SHOWING THE EARTH BEHIND THE SUN SHINING !!! This work has been a favorite of generations of Japanese artists. In the late 70s, an exhibition of the work of the Tokyo-based artist Akio Ogasawas was shown at the Tokyo Metropolitan Museum. The show contained the first of Ogasawas recent works, and included a large-scale model of the Tokyo subway system, complete with its own set of fixed signage, its own red-and-blue subway map, and its own distinctive stop sign. The exhibition included three videotapes, also titled ROOT, as well as a number of other objects, including a model for the new Tokyo subway system. Ogasawas works on paper often turn out to be highly complex operations that require a great deal of labor and a great deal of time. In ROOT, a large black-and-white drawing of the subway system, the lines of the red and blue subway maps were drawn in black, and the black-and-white subway map itself was printed in red ink. The drawing, which depicts the subway system, is a complex network of lines, each line pointing to a different point on the map. The red line at the top of the drawing is the central red line, and the blue line is the blue line, and the red and blue lines are joined together. The drawing is divided into three parts: the central red line, the central blue line, and the red and blue lines. The central red line is the red line, and the blue line is the blue line. The central red line is the central red line, and the blue line is the blue line. The central red line is the central red line, and the blue line is the central red line.  (the site of the power plant). A black-and-white photo of a cat lying on a bed next to a computer terminal bears the word CHICK in a font that recalls the letters C on a typewriter. The caption, HIGHLIGHTING THE FOREIGN, says it all: the whole thing is a trap.Like all of the works on view, this one is tagged with a tagline that reads, IT'S A FEAR OF NO ONE . . .  A thought that quickly surfaces in the art of the 70s: that art is a trap. Its not just a matter of art being a trap—of art being a trap, that art is a trap—but of art being a trap for the mind and soul, and art being a trap for the mind and soul. With this show, all of which are at once inscrutably and immediately, ambiguously, irrevocably, utterly, completely, and forever, the artist seems to be saying that art is a trap for the mind and soul. This trap is the mind and soul, and what theyre trapped in, the mind and soul. But how can art be a trap for the mind and soul? The trap is the mind and soul, but isnt it the mind that is trapped in the trap?—Nancy S.

a logo for a computer company named " ROOT " AND ITS PHOTO OF PINGUIN SHOWING THE EARTH BEHIND THE SUN SHINING !!! DO YOU WANT A PENETRATE? IT'S ALL HERE. The painting, also titled Untitled (Ponguins), 1995, depicts a cluster of twelve pinkish-orange dots in an oversize, circular logo, which looks like a grid of interlocking letters in the shape of a large ponguin. The letters, which are arranged in a grid, are arranged in a triangle. The larger of the two images is a drawing of the same logo, but here, the letters are shown in a grid. The images are all created from a single, circular image, in the same format as the original logo. The drawings are all created from the same, rectangular image. In the end, the work is a kind of collection of four-square pieces of information. If the original logo is a grid, then the drawings are a triangle. If the original logo is a triangle, then the drawings are a square. If the original logo is a square, then the drawings are a rectangle. If the original logo is a rectangle, then the drawings are a square. If the original logo is a square, then the drawings are a rectangle. If we look at the drawings in a grid, we see that the design of the letters is not symmetrical. They are not straight lines; they are not lines that can be traced. They are like a series of connected lines. They are like a series of strokes. The line is not a line that can be traced, but a line that can be drawn. It is a line that can be traced, but not a line that can be traced, but a line that can be drawn. The trace is not a line that can be traced, but a trace that can be traced. The trace is not a line that can be traced, but a trace that can be traced. The trace is not a line that can be traced, but a trace that can be traced.
