The sheriff in the haunted forest  has a wig on; he looks as if he were a ghost.  His face, like the rest of his body, has a beaklike mouth, and his body is covered with bands of fur. The fish in the picture are the same as the ones in the picture that are wearing hats, but they are huge. These are the characters of the show, and they are a direct metaphor for the inhumane world of the animals who are trapped in the cages. The animals are trapped in the cages, and their suffering is mirrored in the cages animals suffering. This theme is also apparent in the work in which we see animals being forced to perform unnatural tasks: the animals in the picture are forced to sit on the floor, for example, or to crawl through a hole in the floor, or to lie on the ground, or to lie on a wooden plank. The animals in these pictures are not victims of their environment, but victims of the environment. They are creatures trapped in a world of their own making. They are animals who have become trapped in the cage, and in the process, they are becoming trapped in the cage. In this way, the animals in the picture are animals trapped in their environment. The animals in the picture are animals trapped in the cage, and in the process, they are becoming trapped in the cage.In the show, the animals in the picture are animals trapped in their environment. In the same way that the animals in the picture are animals trapped in their environment, the animals in the show are animals trapped in their environment. The sheriff in the haunted forest  (all works 2017) is an all-too-human presence, his body covered with mud and his head covered by a white-trash curtain. The wailing voices of the unfortunate victims and the mournful, empty halls of the county morgue recall the haunting, even poetic, ambience of the interior of the gallows. The work also evokes the ultimate condition of the death penalty, a place of torture and of punishment. The title of the show, South American Death, 2017, also invoked the South American history of slavery, a theme that runs throughout the work. For instance, in the second room, a painting of a black man kneeling in a muddy grave, his body covered by a white-trash curtain, was titled South American Death, 2017. The deep black of the curtain accentuates the gloom of the scene, which was apparently the scene of a brutal murder, one that took place in the region between the Atlantic and Pacific Oceans. The white curtain also recedes into the distance, and the words painted on the wall appear to be words spoken by the artist. In another painting, titled The Women of the South, 2017, a woman stands in a muddy grave surrounded by a white curtain that obscures her features. The curtain is a symbol of the physical and metaphysical barriers that separate the body from the metaphysical realm, and it functions as a symbol of the physical and metaphysical limits of the body. The curtain is also a symbol of the spiritual, spiritual realm. In another work, titled Black Widows, 2017, a single white widow is surrounded by a black curtain, its edge painted a dark red. The widows face is covered with a white cloth. The white cloth, which covers her eyes, is a representation of the veil that separates the body from the metaphysical realm.
