I love you dhivya Baby sweetheart (southern) (Bare-chested) (all works 2014) is a pair of silicone tubes that look like an out-of-frame face. The women in this work have contours that look like black skin and a darkened flesh, and they have feet, hips, and back. The patterned fabric is mottled and stained with a luminescent, magenta-blue glaze that looks like it could be made of colored wax. The work is a romantic picture, a love story. You see them in the night and I see you in the morning. This feminine vision of love is so true, you dont think it could be fake.The women in the work have faces that look like black hair. These are the girls who get their names from a local neighborhood. They wear white dresses with long sleeves and delicate skirts. The dresses and skirts are embellished with embroidery and velvet motifs. The dresses are so decorated, they look like they might be hung from the ceiling.The dresses have different patterns, colors, and fabrics in different lengths, and they all have similar, but different, faces. They are complete with round, full lips, and round, full noses. They are painted in bright colors and give off the same kind of mesmerizing effect as do the masks that they wear. The costumes are decorative, but they have a charm that is subtle, yet not pretentious. The costumes are not meant to be decorative; they are meant to make you feel comfortable and safe in your own home. The dolls are meant to be different. If you dont like the dresses, you can always change them. The dolls have personality, and the dresses and costumes have personality. You can wear them to sleep or you can wear them to dress up. They can look like you or like them.These works allude to gender, to femininity, to the body and to the world.

I love you dhivya Baby sweetheart ?" The lines on a page from the paper are the words that make up the title of the exhibition. Though the content is quite specific, the words seem to be everywhere. The title of the exhibition, Chai Chalitra: From the Gallery of Modern Art, is a quote from the curators, who have chosen the title in honor of the seventeenth-century French poet and critic Chai Chih-Tzu Chai (1739–1818). The title refers to the master of the modern language, whose romantic approach to the pictorial world was so intense that he wrote books on painting. In this way, Chai Chih-Tzu Chai is a kind of modern saint.The exhibition also included drawings by the artists, all of them drawn in ink on canvas, and drawings and collages by the participants.
